The Diamond DA42 Twinstar is powered by two Thielert Diesel engines making it extremely economical to operate. It also has the Garmin 1000 glass cockpit making it an excellent touring aircraft and a very low cost option for advanced training. As with all of our aircraft types we have the best examples which are not only new but well maintained making our aircraft the best around. We can offer training and conversion courses for the Garmin 1000 glass cockpit and Thielert Diesel engines as required to suit your needs

Despite Diamond's recent troubles and the bankruptcy of Thielert, we have "propped up" the operation of our Diamond Twinstar with continued investment. Largely thanks to forward planning and economies of scale across our operation we have been able to ride a troublesome time with these aircraft where some operators have grounded them. Many obstacles have been overcome despite the increased costs and service delays imposed upon us by Diamond and Thielert's circumstances. As we operate a cost price business model we have had to increase our hourly rate to £175 per hour to facilitate adequate maintenance reserves, however we still operate with the lowest cost modern generation multi engine hire rates in the world and will continue to do so!
