Piper PA23-250F Aztec
The Piper PA23-250F or Aztec as it is more commonly known, is a six seat light aircraft powered by two Lycoming IO-540-C4B5 piston engines delivering 250 horse power each. This aircraft is a very capable weight carrier and as such is good for heavier loads of passengers and luggage than the Seneca.
Equity Shares are available directly in the aircraft which if purchased give you access at the published rates. The cost of these shares is £6,000 which is refundable once you choose to leave the group. Uniquely there is no monthly standing order associated with your membership of this group as it is on an Equity Shares basis.
Although the Piper Aztec is no longer in production it is still a very popular multi engine training and touring aircraft. It is also an extremely stable instrument platform which is perfect for IFR training of all types. The Aztec has never been known for being inexpensive to operate but with our "no equity" groups we know for sure it is the lowest cost multi-engine of its class available for use in Europe! As with all of our aircraft types, we have the best example of the type with extremely high specification so even though it is not "new generation" like our other fleets our aircraft is the best around
