Diamond DA42 Twinstar
The Diamond DA42 or Twinstar as it is more commonly known, is a four seat light aircraft powered by two turbo charged Thierlert Centurion 1.7 diesel engines each delivering 145 horse power. As the aircraft only has four seats it is ideal for trips requiring only one or two passengers to be carried.
Equity Shares are available in our sister company Equity Air Charter which if purchased give you access to the DA42. The cost of these shares is £12,000 which is refundable once you choose to leave the group. Uniquely there is no monthly standing order associated with your membership of this group as it is on an Equity Shares basis.
The Diamond DA42 Twinstar is powered by two Thielert Diesel engines making it extremely economical to operate. It also has the Garmin 1000 glass cockpit making it an excellent touring aircraft and a very low cost option for advanced training. As with all of our aircraft types we have the best examples which are not only new but well maintained making our aircraft the best around. We can offer training and conversion courses for the Garmin 1000 glass cockpit and Thielert Diesel engines as required to suit your needs.
- Members who join a single multi engine group such as the Seneca or Baron only get the use of the aircraft in that group only.
- Members who join both multi engine groups (Seneca and Baron) get the use of the two aircraft which they have joined and also the use of the Diamond Twinstar.
- We do not sell individual shares in the Twinstar or operate a No Equity group in it.
