Beechcraft BE55 Baron
The Beechcraft BE55 or Baron as it is more commonly known, is a six seat light aircraft powered by two Continental IO-470-L piston engines each delivering 260 horse power. This aircraft is based at Liverpool Airport offering 24 hour availability.
Equity Shares are available in our sister company Equity Air Charter which if purchased give you access to the BE55. The cost of these shares is £6,000 which is refundable once you choose to leave the group. Uniquely there is no monthly standing order associated with your membership of this group as it is on an Equity Shares basis.
The Beech Baron is a popular multi engine aircraft of proven design. Our aircraft has two 260 horse power engines and makes an excellent training and touring aircraft and a very stable instrument platform for advanced training. As with all of our aircraft types we have the best examples so even though this aircraft is not "new generation" like our other fleets our Baron is one of the finest examples around.
- Members who join a single multi engine group such as the Beech Baron get the use of the aircraft in that group only.
- Members who join both multi engine groups (Seneca and Baron) get the use of the two aircraft which they have joined and also the use of the Diamond Twinstar.
